The overall grade of the degree must be at least 2.5 or better. In addition, it is required that the applicant has a degree in the following fields: Engineering Sciences, Computer Science, Business Administration, Transport Studies within the scope of their first professional qualification.

A compulsory internship in a company of at least 16 weeks (1 credit per week, maximum 16 credits) is planned for the study of Logistics Engineering and is credited in the interdisciplinary compulsory elective area or non-logistics module. Alternatively, the professional internship can be compensated by suitable courses with practical relevance from the compulsory elective catalogue. The non-logistics elective module can be partially replaced by at least four weeks of practical work experience in the field of logistics. An internship report of at least 5 pages (per month) is to be compiled on the practical work experience. The practical work experience should be completed before admission to the Master's thesis. The examination board decides on the proof of successful participation in the practical work experience.
