What you will do

  • Preparation of a thesis on the topic "Development of new bodies or glazes for ceramic production"
  • You optimize existing ceramic bodies and/or glazes in terms of quality, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
  • You analyze and evaluate alternative raw materials and potential suppliers to identify innovative and economical solutions.
  • Together with the team, you develop sustainable and resource-saving ceramic bodies and glazes.
  • In international projects, you work closely with our production sites abroad, for example in Canada or Egypt.

What you need

  • Ongoing studies in materials engineering, glass and ceramics, or a comparable degree program, ideally with a focus on ceramic bodies, glazes, technical ceramics, materials development, or process engineering
  • First experience in ceramic materials analysis an advantage
  • Strong knowledge in planning, documentation, and a reliable and structured way of working
  • Teamwork, collegiality, and enjoyment of collaboration with different departments
  • Good English skills; French skills an advantage
