Preparation of a master's thesis Analysis of process engineering processes in the tunnel kiln (firing process, air flows, heat transfer) You develop a simulation model of the tunnel kiln using suitable methods You support the optimization of thermal and fluid mechanical processes with a focus on energy efficiency Conducting test series and evaluation of results regarding quality and avoidance of process errors You work on building a digital twin to virtually test future optimizations

Master's degree in process engineering, process engineering or comparable First experience with simulation software (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL, MATLAB) an advantage Knowledge in CAD modeling Good understanding of physical relationships and technical processes Analytical and abstract thinking skills, as well as structured way of working Teamwork and good communication skills Good German and English skills
