EY-Parthenon Intern Financial & Business Modeling - Transactions & Corporate Finance (f/m/d)

As part of our Modeling Team within Strategy and Transactions in Munich, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, or Berlin with a focus on Business and Financial Modeling, you support the development and evaluation of complex business models for our clients, evaluate new market potentials, derive value standards, and show our clients options for action. In doing so, you take on diverse tasks:

• You gain insights into strategic and operational decision-making processes of large companies.
• You support your colleagues in developing options for action using multidimensional financial models and analytics solutions, particularly in the context of transactions, restructurings, financings, or economic efficiency assessments.
• You work in cross-sector projects – from automotive to renewable energies – in multinational and interdisciplinary teams and gain deep insights into business contexts.
• As an intern, you are closely integrated into the project work and given specific responsibility for selected topic areas that sustainably contribute to project success.
• You improve your technical knowledge and soft skills through extensive training opportunities and in collaboration with our experienced teams, which give you insights into specialized data analysis methods with tools such as VBA, Alteryx, or Python.

Your Skillset

• You are currently studying business administration (at least 3rd semester) and have a strong interest in Corporate Finance and Accounting.
• You solve problems in a structured way using tools like Excel and have a strong interest in expanding this knowledge by combining further tools for analyzing larger data volumes such as VBA, Power Query, or Alteryx.
• You already have initial experience with visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau or have knowledge in data analysis with SQL, Python, or R; moreover, you have very good German and English skills (at least C1).
