Joint preparation of the exact title and scope of the work Research and analysis of the state of science and technology in GNSS-R and preparation of a white paper describing the feasibility and approach of mathematical models and data analysis Development of mathematical algorithms to derive topographic models from measured raw data Simulation of the algorithms based on GNSS-R data Discussion of different ways to maximise resolution Feature extraction and development of pattern and object recognition algorithms from GNSS-R data Preparation of project documentation, including design descriptions, mathematical and design models, algorithms and code Preparation of a summary of all completed activities, presentations and short information materials for internal GK seminars

Enrolment in an academic university degree programme, preferably geomatics, geodesy, geophysics, physics or a relevant subject Very good research and analytical skills A high degree of independence Confident written and spoken expression in German and English Very good knowledge of common MS Office programmes Ideally, the work will also be the subject of a master's thesis; this must be clarified with the university in advance
