Master's Thesis: Development and Implementation of Vision-Language-Action Models for Autonomous Deployment of Humanoid Robots in Industrial Applications (m/f/d)

You develop and realize a proof of concept (POC) for the autonomous deployment of a humanoid robot for industrial applications; you create datasets with which the robot learns new skills; you investigate how a humanoid robot independently recognizes, grips, positions and provides components for downstream manufacturing processes; you train and fine-tune AI models to control a humanoid robot; you validate your results using real industrial applications, for example in the environment of laser or ECM systems

Ongoing master's degree in mechanical engineering, automation technology, robotics, mechatronics, computer science, software engineering or a comparable field; ideally initial experience with robotics frameworks, image processing or software development; independent way of working and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration; you are enthusiastic about robotics, autonomous systems and industrial automation; very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
