What you will do

  • Support of a project team in the development and design of new mechatronic systems in the field of electric and hybridized drives
  • Collaboration in the evaluation of requirement specifications, data sheets and creation of own component specifications
  • Assistance in the selection of new assembly concepts, CAD design of components and the creation of drawings
  • Collaboration in return and benchmark investigations (disassembly of assemblies / photo documentation)
  • Support in prototype construction and laboratory during the assembly of prototypes
  • Collaboration in component design and selection of a suitable assembly and connection technology (e.g. performing tolerance analyses)
  • Collaboration in the definition of test and simulation series and interpretation of results
  • Creation of templates and design documents in German and English

What you need

  • Studies in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field
  • Initial experience in design, ideally with CAD software Creo 7.0, is an advantage
  • Knowledge of the fundamentals of electrical engineering, electronic components, as well as sensor technology and actuator technology
  • Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Proficient in MS Office programs
  • Very good technical understanding
  • Creativity, independent work, and communication skills
