Student Assistant: Design and Simulation of Flexible Production Systems

Supporting research into existing approaches for energy-oriented production system planning, deriving requirements for flexible production systems, implementing relevant methods with discrete-event and agent-based simulation software, and developing software tools for data analysis and production system design.

• Studies in engineering, production technology, or business informatics, such as mechanical engineering or industrial engineering
• Knowledge of planning and controlling production systems
• Ability to use discrete-event and agent-based simulation tools
• Knowledge of software project development
• Knowledge of data mining methods
• Experience with large language models and coding agents
• Knowledge of GitHub or related version control systems
• Language: German or English.
