Student Assistant "Laser Technology"

To support our groups "Laser Process Technology" and "Laser Systems Engineering", we are permanently looking for student assistants for the implementation, development and characterization of laser material processing processes as well as for support with our laboratory setups and for the following activities:

• You work on scientific projects.
• You support us in carrying out standardized laser material processing processes for the production of solar cells.
• You participate in carrying out characterization procedures for process control.
• Your tasks also include programming of equipment.
• You relieve us in the construction of laboratory setups.
• You work with us on sample production and data evaluation.

What you bring

• You have a strong interest in laser technology in particular and/or optical technologies in general.
• You are studying a scientific, engineering or comparable field.
• Experience in careful, practical laboratory work is desired.
• You have basic knowledge in the field of solar cells and semiconductor physics and have already had contact with laser technologies.
• You have basic Python programming skills.
• It is important to you to contribute to the team and to achieve common goals together in collaboration.
• You find it easy to listen attentively to others and to work independently on assigned tasks.
• Presenting independently performed work comes easily to you.
• You can express yourself confidently in both German and English.
