Student Assistant "Support of Laboratory Work in Compliance with Occupational Safety"
Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft
What you'll do
You prepare scientific experiments in compliance with occupational safety requirements. You analyse samples and ensure the proper use and documentation of chemicals. You document work and experimental results carefully and traceably. You contribute to the improvement of storage structures for laboratory-related results. You support the procurement of materials for the execution of scientific projects and obtain quotes for this purpose.
What you need
You are studying chemistry, pharmacy, safety engineering, natural sciences, or a comparable field. You have an analytical and technical interest and want to further expand your knowledge in these areas. You have a basic understanding of laboratory activities and their documentation and already have some initial experience in the lab. Knowledge of handling chemicals and working in a lab is an advantage but not a requirement. You enjoy working in a team and communicate reliably and bindingly, both in person and in writing via email and MS Teams. You work with dedication, care, and high quality standards. You plan upcoming work steps independently and with foresight, set priorities, and have good time management. Confident use of MS Office is a matter of course for you. You have very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
