Student Thesis / Bachelor Thesis: Dynamic Safety Zones in Flexible Production

Conceptualization of the projection system (including positioning and alignment) for zone visualization on the demonstrator. Construction of a physical demonstrator consisting of robot system, camera sensor technology, edge computing unit, and projector. Calibration and distortion correction of the projector for position-accurate floor projection of safety zones, based on externally provided position parameters. Execution of function tests and documentation of results.

Studies in engineering or computer science. Completed technical or commercial vocational training is desirable, as physical construction is a central component. Initial experience with robotics and safety technology is desirable. Enjoyment of practical construction of hardware-software systems. Reliable and independent working style.
