Working Student (f/m/d) DC Railway Power Supply

You support the design of electrical and mechanical components for DC railway power switching systems.

• You contribute to the creation of technical concepts, drawings, and documentation.
• You assist with technical research, requests for quotation, and evaluations.
• You also create and maintain technical overview lists and component data.
• You create and revise manufacturing and operating instructions.
• Furthermore, you support the digitalization and automation of smaller engineering tasks.

You are studying mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical/energy engineering, or a comparable technical degree program.

• You are confident in using common MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• You have a good basic understanding of electrical engineering and technology.
• Knowledge in the areas of energy supply, power electronics, or electrical systems is an advantage.
• Ideally, you have knowledge of 3D CAD, preferably Siemens NX.
• Initial knowledge of a programming language, e.g., Python, C/C++, or VBA, is also desirable.
• Good German and English skills round off your profile.
