Social life

Bard College Berlin has a small but very international student body, including visiting students from the wider Bard network and Erasmus. Students run about a dozen clubs and organisations, and the Student Life team supports orientation, careers, internships, study abroad and health.

The campus has a library, cafeteria and residence halls in a quiet, green neighbourhood, while the rest of Berlin offers three opera houses, a philharmonic orchestra and countless galleries, cinemas and theatres.

Accommodation

Bard College Berlin's campus is in Pankow, a quiet residential area of Berlin. First- and second-year BA students and Academy Year students live on campus in gender-inclusive residence halls:

Henry Koerner Hall: a modern apartment building where 4 to 5 students share an apartment with its own kitchen, living room and bathroom.
Treskowstraße halls: renovated traditional Berlin buildings with a courtyard and garden, with apartments of three double rooms and a shared kitchen.

Rooms come furnished with bed linen and free Wi-Fi. Each building has a student Residential Assistant with 24/7 on-call cover.
