Environmental Engineering is a German-taught, research-oriented Master of Science at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU), on the main campus in Cottbus. It takes 4 semesters full-time, you can start in winter or summer, and admission is not limited. It follows on from the Bachelor's in Environmental Engineering and is a multidisciplinary, integrative engineering field built around preserving and developing the places where people live and work. You also gain social and sociological skills and general engineering knowledge, which open doors to other fields too. Career areas include recycling and recovering materials from waste, and environmental remediation, ecosystem regeneration and biodiversity conservation. Requirements include at least a Bachelor's in the subject area or an equivalent degree. No pre-study internship is required.
