What you need to apply for International Law of Global Security, Peace & Development (LL.M.) at Leuphana University of Luneburg
Incompleted Bachelors degree
If you have not yet completed your degree at the time of application, you can still apply. To do so, you must prove that you have successfully completed at least 81% of the total required workload in your current course. Depending on the degree programme, 81% applies in relation to the total course credit of 180 Credit Points = 145 Credit Points or 210 Credit Points = 170 Credit Points. Please complete this form as proof of your progress and ask the examination office at your university to verify it.
If the Bachelors degree certificate is not yet available when you apply for a master's programme by the application deadline of June 1st, you must submit it by March 31st of the following year at the end of your first semester. If the proof is not provided in the prescribed time, the preliminary admission will be revoked: At the same time, you will be exmatriculated from the study programme.
If you are completing your Bachelors degree at Leuphana, please submit your Transcript of Records instead of the form.

As part of your online application, you also need to submit the following supporting documents:
A copy (or copies) of your official degree certificate(s) (if you have already completed your degree).
A copy (or copies) of your official academic transcript(s), showing full details of subjects studied and grades/marks obtained.
Official English translations of the certificate(s) and transcript(s).
Two reference letters on headed paper (at least one academic and if appropriate, the other from the student’s most recent employer).

A copy of the photo page of your passport.
A supporting personal statement (max 1,000 words) in which you are asked to detail the following:
the motivation for choosing the ILGSPD program,
your suitability for the ILGSPD program,
An explanation of research interests and placement aims/practice aims, and
a study track preference in semester 3 bearing in mind the undergraduate LLB degree requirements of semester 3 partners RU and ULB.
ILGSPD personal statement form.
ILGSPD Erasmus Mundus scholarship form (required only for scholarship applications).
