Paderborn University offers a Master of Science in Applied Neurosciences in Sports & Exercise, which is a unique and innovative program that combines the fields of neuroscience and sports science. This program provides students with a deep understanding of the neural mechanisms underlying human movement, exercise, and sports performance. Students will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and research methods to explore the relationship between the brain and physical activity. How to apply
What you need to apply for Applied Neurosciences in Sports & Exercise at Paderborn University
Knowledge of English at the B2 level of the Common European Reference Framework for Languages (CEFR). Knowledge of English can be demonstrated in particular by:
an Abitur (school-leaving) certificate confirming that Level B2 has been achieved or
by a bachelor’s degree taught in English in a native English speaking country (= Australia, UK, Ireland, Canada, New Zealand, USA)* or
by TOEFL (internet-based: 87 points),
1. IELTS (5.5),
2. Cambridge ESOL (FCE) or Unicert II.
The certificate provided must be no older than a maximum of two years, calculated from the start of the semester in which enrollment takes place. The limited duration does not apply for the school and bachelor graduation certificates as they do not expire.
German language skills are not mandatory for admission but strongly recommended if the internship is planned in German facilities. It might then be necessary to communicate with i.e. patients or athletes in German.
A certificate of university entrance.
Completion of an undergraduate degree in sports sciences, neurosciences, healthcare sciences or physical therapy (180 credit points) at a German state university or a similar qualification from a foreign country.
The Examinations Board shall determine compliance with these requirements.
