Requirements for Application
This masters program aims at students with a first degree in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, biomedical science, medicine or a related field who have a strong interest in clinical neuroscience and neural diseases. Profound knowledge in genetics, biochemistry, and molecular and cell biology are indispensable requirements for a successful accomplishment of the course.

Exempted from this proof are students who (1) graduated from a college/university where the medium of instruction was English or (2) are from a country where the official language is English or (3) German students who had English as a foreign language at a German Gymnasium from grade 8 until grade 12/13, with a final result of at least "good".
What to prepare for your application to Cellular & Molecular Neuroscience
Transcripts & Degree Certificate. Applicants have to submit complete academic records and copies of degrees awarded (Bachelor's degree certificate). Transcripts or degree certificates issued in languages other than German or English must be accompanied by a German or English translation. The Grade Point Average (GPA) must be indicated on the transcript. A GPA of at least 2.5 (German grading system) is required. Applications are welcome even if the required degree (B.Sc.) has not been awarded by the time of application, as long as the degree will be conferred before courses start in October.
