What you need to apply for Molecular and Translational Neuroscience at Ulm University
Proof of sufficient English language skills at level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). This is proven by:
7.0 points or better on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
Certificate in Advanced English or Certificate of Proficiency in English at the Cambridge exam
490 (listening), 455 (reading), 200 (speaking) and 200 (writing) points or better in the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC)
95 points or better in the Test of English as a Foreign Language internet-based (TOEFL iBT)
Level III or Level IV at UNIcert
GER C1 level or higher, shown on the university entrance qualification. A language proficiency level that is partly at GER C1 level and lower will not be recognized.
This does not apply to applicants whose language of instruction for acquiring their bachelor’s degree or their first university degree was exclusively English.
Bachelor's degree or at least an equivalent degree from a university, university of applied sciences, dual university or a recognized foreign university in the field of biology, biochemistry, molecular medicine, physiological chemistry, neurobiology, biopsychology, human biology, molecular life science or in a related or subject-specific course at the level of at least three academic years.
Bachelor's degree with an overall grade of 2.7 or better
, or if you do not yet have a degree:
the coursework and examinations completed up to the time the application was submitted with an average grade of 2.7 or better

a letter of recommendation: a study-related letter of recommendation signed by an employee of a public or private body on letterhead, which shows the contact details of the signatory and the capacity in which the signatory acted
Letter of motivation, maximum two pages: written report in English, in which the personal and subject-specific reasons for applying to the degree program are listed and in which the choice of the intended degree program is justified
English language skills at level C1 GER (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
In addition to these requirements, a selection interview must be passed with the determination "suitable".

If you do not yet have an APS certificate from India, please upload proof of the application.
In the case of a foreign university degree: grading scale for the degree program stating the lowest passing grade and maximum grade for the university degree, to be verified on the bachelor’s certificate/bachelor’s certificate or on an official document from the university.
If the evidence and documents to be submitted are not in German or English, an official translation into German or English is also required

A selection interview will be conducted as a one-on-one interview in English. The selection interview can also be conducted as a video conference.
The selection interview is intended to show whether the applicant is technically competent for the master's program (professional aptitude) and open to the program (motivation). For this purpose, the professional competence, the content of the bachelor thesis, the personal motivation for the master's degree, the study goals and the conversational behavior with regard to the way of expression, the quality of the language skills, the approach to the discussion of problems and the coherence of the argumentation are evaluated in the interview. The applicant should also explain to what extent existing previous experience, in particular relevant stays abroad, additional qualifications, internships and further training as well as interests in relation to the master's program can be used.
