How to apply
What you need to apply for MA Double Degree Philosophy at University of Bamberg
as well as knowledge of two foreign languages , including English (level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference, corresponds to the Abitur level). Proof is usually provided by the Abitur certificate, knowledge of ancient foreign languages is proven by a Latinum or Graecum.
These are also the complete admission requirements for the double degree Master, so knowledge of the language of the partner country is not required at the beginning of the course . In order to obtain the degree in both countries, however, the students must also be admitted to the partner country as regular Master's students (not as ERASMUS students). This requires language skills at level B2, which the students must have at the latest at the beginning of their last master's semester. Appropriate courses for language acquisition are part of the course. If the required level is still not reached, the students are always given the opportunity to obtain a degree from their home university.
