1.) BA degree in the humanities (including political science, the social sciences, law, communications, media, journalism)
\- please note: A history minor in the BA (60 ECTS credits) increases your chances of being accepted into the programme
\- The final grade of the BA and the language certificates are essential for a successful application (you can find the previous numerus clausus/GPA listings here)
2.) Knowledge of 3 languages:

Goethe certificate, language center HU and state accredited language schools, etc.
3\. Another modern European language A2 --> each official European language will be accepted
for example: certificate from a language school/test at the "Sprachenzentrum" of the HU/Native speaker or at least 10 CP at a German University in German courses, etc.
