What you need to apply for Master Mind and Brain at Humboldt University of Berlin (HU Berlin)
The master’s program Mind and Brain is conducted entirely in English.
Proficiency in English must be proven with a recognized language certificate (FAQ 5).
In general, applicants have to provide a certified copy of the language certificate. Only when exam results can be verified online - which is possible for TOEFL and IELTS results - merely a simple copy is required.
The dated certificate must state the testing facility, achieved level, as well as the date of the last exam.

1) Students at German universities: At the time of application, applicants from German universities must have a transcript showing that >>no more than 60 ECTS points are missing before completion of studies is possible (>>previously: 30 ECTS points). At the end of the online application process, applicants who have not yet completed their studies will receive a form that the examination office of their university has to fill in. On this form the examination office must confirm how many credit points the applicant has achieved at the point of application.
(2) Students at international universities: Applicants from international universities will need their university to issue an informal but official statement confirming when they are expected to complete their studies. If these international universities use ECTS points, the university's statement has to be supplemented by an official transcript showing that >>no more than 60 ECTS points are missing before completion of studies is possible (>>previously: 30 ECTS points). The BA/BSc final graduation certificate must be submitted no later than September 2021(!) (previously: upon registration).

b. Certified copies of all certificates and corresponding transcripts of records:
secondary school-leaving certificate,
university entrance examination documentation (if applicable),

graduation certificate.
If certified copies are requested by the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin or Uni-Assist, on no account may simple Xerox copies be provided - in this case the application will not be processed! .
