What you need to apply for Bioinformatics (MSc) at University of Tubingen
For variant A students, proof of very good English language skills is sufficient: level GER C1/B2 or IELTS band >6.5 or TOEFL at least 80.

Applicants should have an above-average bachelor’s degree in bioinformatics, Biology, Computer Science, or an equivalent field. International applicants who do not have a German educational qualification must provide proof of German language skills (CEFR B2-C1) when applying
The prerequisite for admission and enrollment is the quality of the degree (currently a grade point average of 2.5 for the bachelor's degree or the preliminary coursework and the affinity (content compatibility between bachelor's and master's) of the degree or the preliminary coursework of the desired bioinformatics master's degree program.
A prerequisite for all students is sufficient knowledge of English. For admission to the master's program, English language skills at the GER B2/C1 level (or IELTS at least band 6.5 or TOEFL at least 79) must be proven. International applicants who do not have a German educational qualification must provide proof of German language skills (GER B2-C1) when applying.
The degree in the master's program for students with a bachelor's degree in bioinformatics (variant A) can also be acquired through the parts of the study program offered in English by earning enough credit points for a degree in English-language courses, all compulsory courses being held in English and In these English-language courses and compulsory courses mentioned above, the coursework and examination achievements can be completed in English. For variant A students, proof of very good English skills is sufficient: level GER C1/B2 or IELTS at least band 6.5 or TOEFL at least 79.
