What you'll do
- Research and familiarization with the fundamentals of evaluating individual noise sources within the overall noise and their transmission paths
- Independent execution of vehicle measurements on the roller test bench in the low-reflection sound measurement room, on special test tracks, and in real road traffic
- Analysis and evaluation of the obtained measurement data
- Investigation and further development of measurement and analysis methods to identify optimization potentials
- Further development and validation of simulation models for predicting noise emissions in commercial vehicles
- Support in the interpretation and documentation of measurement results
What you need
- Basic knowledge in vehicle acoustics and NVH
- First experiences with vehicle tests and acoustic measurements
- Experience in evaluation and analysis of measurement data
- Knowledge in programming and software applications, e.g., Python, MATLAB, or C++
- Independent, structured, and analytical working style
- Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
