What you will do

You research current topics from rail, infrastructure, business, politics, and sustainability and prepare information, figures, studies, and backgrounds for our communications. You support us in creating press releases, newsroom articles, briefings, social media texts, and other editorial formats. You conduct fact-checks and help us find reliable sources, meaningful examples, and citable statements. You monitor relevant media and topics and identify developments that could be interesting for Vossloh and our communications. You assist in preparing and handling press inquiries and maintaining media and topic distribution lists. You contribute to our topic and editorial planning and support preparation of important communication events. With growing experience, you can independently handle topics and contributions.

What you need

You are studying communication science, journalism, political science, economics, or humanities or a comparable field. You are interested in current economic and social topics and quickly familiarize yourself with new and complex issues. You research thoroughly, think analytically, and handle sources confidently and critically. You have a very good feel for language and can formulate complicated content clearly, precisely, and engagingly. You have very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken. You work reliably, carefully, and independently and contribute your own ideas. First journalistic, editorial, or communications experience – e.g. through internships, university media, or freelance work – is welcome but not required. Knowledge of the rail industry is not expected. Curiosity about it is.
