Hochschule Bremen takes part in the uni-assist VPD procedure. If your qualification was earned abroad and you meet the admission and language requirements, you first apply for a VPD at uni-assist, then apply directly to Hochschule Bremen in its CampInO portal with that VPD. For Master's and MBA programmes at the International Graduate Center you do not apply through uni-assist: you apply directly to the IGC and register in CampInO after you are admitted and have paid the deposit.

Hochschule Bremen lists transcripts and grade overviews, degree certificates, a CV, a motivation letter and any other documents your programme asks for. Some programmes also need extras such as a pre-study internship, an artistic or creative aptitude test or work experience; the programme page lists the exact requirements. If you have a foreign school diploma or a foreign Bachelor's degree, you usually first apply for a VPD (preliminary document assessment) through uni-assist. You do not need one if you passed a Feststellungsprüfung at a state-recognised Studienkolleg, already have a VPD for Hochschule Bremen, or have other official recognition of your foreign qualification, such as a ZAB certificate or a certificate from another authority that includes an overall grade; programmes at the International Graduate Center are applied for there directly.
