What you need to apply for International Media Studies at Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences (HS Bonn-Rhein-Sieg)
Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and more than one year of professional experience in a media-related field after obtaining their first degree. Applicants applying for a scholarship should have at least two years of professional experience after their first degree.
What to prepare for your application to International Media Studies
Letter of motivation (in English, max. 700 words; font: Arial, font size: 10; line spacing: 1.5 with signature and date)
Current CV (in English, in Europass format, with signature and date)
University degree certificate of the first academic degree (including list of grades)
Proof of at least one year of professional experience in the media sector (AFTER the first university degree; applicants for a scholarship require proof of at least 2 years of professional experience after the first university degree). You can submit a certificate from your employer as proof of your professional experience. The certificate should include the media-relevant title and duration of your employment, the company letterhead, the date of issue of the certificate and the employer's signature. APS certificate - if university degree obtained in China, India, Vietnam or Mongolia
Proof of English language skills (at least level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). If you have completed a degree program in which English was the language of instruction, you can submit an official written confirmation from the university.
