Some prior programming knowledge is strongly recommended. Python is the programming language used in the program.

What to prepare for your application to Computational Neuroscience
The application should include the following:
all documents requested by the Technische Universität Berlin, according to this information; note that due to the early deadline, applicants do not have to supply a certificate of their finished degree, if this has not been issued yet; an up-to-date transcript of records is required in any case,
a letter of motivation describing why you want to study computational neuroscience at the BCCN Berlin, and how this ties in with your interests and the general goals you pursue(d) in your education,
a tabular CV listing activities and experiences relevant for the studies,
two letters of recommendation by your supervisors or lecturers; your referees can also e-mail their letters directly to Darko Komnenić <graduateprograms AT bccn-berlin DOT de>, with the subject line "Reference for MSc applicant <your name>",
The letters must include official letterhead and be signed by the referee
documentation of sufficient mathematical knowledge, see prerequisites. Please use the form (“List of relevant mathematical courses”) below,
certificate of proficiency in English (non-native speakers only - see prerequisites below)
NB: Candidates willing to pass TOEFL iBT can mention the TOEFL code of uni-assist e.V. (2727), so that a copy of test results will be sent directly to uni-assist. Alternatively applicants can send a certified copy of their TOEFL results to uni-assist e.V.,
