Automotive Engineering

To be admitted to the Master's degree programme in Automotive Engineering, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Qualified degree from an accredited bachelor's or diploma degree program in mechanical engineering or related courses of study

The determination of aptitude is regulated in the "Regulations on Access and Admission for the Consecutive Master's Degree Programs of the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science", which can be found in the [Official Gazette](https://www.hs-osnabrueck.de/wir/organisation/amtsblatt/o...).

Applicants with a previous degree abroad must provide proof of [appropriate German language skills ](https://www.hs-osnabrueck.de/studium/rund-ums-studium/bew...)at DSH 2/C1 level.

• Your school or university degree must be recognised as an entitlement to access a Bachelor's or Master's degree programme. Check whether you meet the requirements for recognition. For this purpose, you can use the information provided by the [German Academic Exchange Service](https://www2.daad.de/deutschland/nach-deutschland/vorauss...) or the [Anabin database ](https://anabin.kmk.org/no_cache/filter/schulabschluesse-m...)of the Central Office for Foreign Education.

There are additional admission requirements for some of our degree programmes:

• Practical work experience before your studies ([pre-study internship)](https://www.hs-osnabrueck.de/studium/rund-ums-studium/bew...))
• 3-year vocational training before graduation (e.g. for courses of study in the nursing/health sector)
• Artistic qualification (for artistic-creative courses of study such as design, music or theatre education)
• English language skills
