You need an academic background in Computer Science or a strongly related field to be eligible. Actually, according to our study regulations, you need to have a Computer Science degree of TU Chemnitz to get admission. For all other applicants there is an individual eligibility check (how good your degree matches the required degree and / or assessing your chances to accomplish the overall program goals successfully), which is mainly based on your academic profile. Although there is no required minimum grade, a grade better than 2.0 (German grading system) is strongly recommended. This is no cut-off mark, so you could still be eligible with 2.1. However, your chances will be considerably reduced if you have a lower grade.
