Access to the procedure requires that you apply online in good time ( from mid-November for the start of the summer semester, from mid-May for the start of the winter semester ) and that the following documents (according to Appendix 2 of the Study and Examination Regulations) are complete, correct and submitted on time by July 15, 2025 :

University entrance qualification (usually Abitur certificate);

Completed application form

Evidence of successful completion of a university degree program, which must show the coursework and examination achievements, including the overall grade (e.g., certificate, current grade overview, transcript of records, supplement). Applicants who are unable to provide evidence of a degree by the application deadline must attach proof that they have acquired achievements totaling at least 150 ECTS credits . In this case, a certificate from the university where the qualifying degree is being obtained must also be attached, stating a fictitious overall grade , in which the achievements missing for the degree are assessed with a grade of 4.0. If the university cannot issue corresponding proof, the applicant must calculate the fictitious overall grade themselves. It is advisable to create a clear presentation in table format (e.g. in Microsoft Excel).

Other relevant evidence (e.g. vocational training, professional experience, internships, stays abroad as part of your studies, special social commitment during your studies).

Your application will be reviewed according to the criteria of the examination and study regulations. You will receive feedback via the online portal a few weeks after the application deadline (admission, invitation to an interview, or rejection). We ask that you refrain from further inquiries!
