First degree (Bachelor of Science or Engineering, German FH Diploma) in Electrical Engineering or Communication Engg closely related field awarded by an internationally recognized university-level institution. Above average results in undergraduate studies. Certificate of adequate English language skills at level C1 (CEFR) (corresponding to TOEFL iBT with at least 95 scores or IELTS at least 7.0). Industrial experience is welcome but not a must.
Please note: It is not possible to apply for the master program, if you have only completed a three-year undergraduate program. Four years of undergraduate university studies are absolutely mandatory prior to application.
What to prepare for your application to Communication and Information Technology
The requirements for each master's program are set out in subject-specific admissions regulations . For enrollment, a relevant university degree at least at bachelor's level is required. In addition , foreign language skills , certain professional achievements , a letter of motivation , a certain average grade or participation in an entrance test may be required.

Applications are accepted between 1 March and 30 April for the following winter semester (starting in October).
In order to apply, the following academic admission requirements must be fulfilled:
a) Undergraduate degree in law (or equivalent) of at least 240 ECTS CP (four years)
b) proof of English language proficiency at the level C1
(List of accepted certificates and required scores)
c) letter of motivation (maximum 2,000 words)
d) CV
