- Measuring mechanical components using 3D measurement systems
- Creating complex 3D scanning and measurement programmes
- Designing and procuring prototypes, test tools and fixtures
- Conducting mechanical tests on prototypes and production devices
- Analysing, evaluating and presenting test results
- Independently carrying out 3D printing projects
- Supporting innovative, international project teams in the field of mechanics
What you need
- You are studying mechanical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable degree programme
- You should be familiar with MS Office and have good knowledge of common programmes
- Good CAD skills, especially in Catia, would be desirable
- Fluent German and good written and spoken English are important to us
- You can quickly familiarise yourself with new processes and problems, structure requirements together with different departments and develop solutions
- You approach topics analytically and with a focus on solutions, enjoy communicating with different departments and contribute your own ideas
- You are independent, goal-oriented and organised, and know how to work effectively without losing sight of the bigger picture
- Strong communication and teamwork skills are particularly important
- The application requires a current enrolment certificate, current transcript of records and confirmation from your university that you must complete a mandatory internship
- Applicants from outside the EU must submit a valid residence permit and work permit, including the supplementary sheet
