What documents do I need for the application?
Scan of your higher education entrance qualification certificate (e.g. general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur), university of applied sciences entrance qualification (Fachabitur))
Scan of your first professionally qualifying university degree (certificate: e.g., Bachelor's, Diploma I, State Examination).
If you do not yet have a bachelor's degree certificate at the time of application , please upload the following documentation: At the time of application, you must have already completed and passed at least 80% of the required credits. This corresponds to 144 of 180 or 168 of 210 credits. You must also provide proof of admission to the bachelor's thesis (specifying the submission date).
Preliminary subject and grade overview of your previous studies and
the certificate of your studies status completed and signed by your current examination office .

If applicable, additional application form (only in: Computer Science, Sustainable Management, REE, Social Law and Social Economy, Environmental Engineering)
Proof of health insurance ("Confirmation of Insurance for University").
Membership certificates are not accepted. Please apply for a digital insurance certificate ("Notification 10") from your statutory health insurance provider for enrollment at the University of Kassel, which the health insurance provider will send electronically directly to the University of Kassel. Please provide your health insurance provider with the University of Kassel's return number . This number is: H0000479 . If you are privately insured, you must contact a statutory health insurance provider with your private insurance certificate. The statutory health insurance provider will then digitally notify the University of Kassel that you are "not (statutory) subject to compulsory health insurance." A digital portrait photo is required for the CampusCard (student ID card). The photo must be passport-sized (the face, without a hat or sunglasses, takes up most of the image).
