How to apply
What you need to apply for Public Health at Fulda University of Applied Sciences (HS Fulda)
Evidence of a completed Bachelor's examination in a study programme with a focus on health or nursing science with an average grade of 2.5 or better or a degree in social sciences, business sciences or natural sciences without a focus on health science with an average grade of 2.5 or better and professional experience of at least one year in the health system or a degree in social sciences, business sciences or natural sciences with an average grade of 2.5 or better and occupation in a field relevant to public health. Applicants with an average grade of less than 2.5 and at least three years of relevant professional experience in a field relevant to Public Health may be admitted if it can be proven in an oral interview that they have the aptitude to work in the field of health science in a research-oriented study programme.
In addition, only those who work at least half of the collectively agreed weekly working hours in a field relevant to Public Health, which conditions at least a Bachelor's degree, may be admitted to the part-time Public Health study programme.
Applicants who have not applied for their university entrance qualification at a German-speaking facility must provide evidence of German skills at level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (DSH-2 or equivalent)
What to prepare for your application to Public Health
For all universities you usually need:

-Certificates of your school leaving certificate and previously completed academic achievements, including subject and grade overviews . Depending on your country of origin and desired course of study, additional documentation may also be required, for example, proof of having passed a university entrance exam .
-Recognized language certificates demonstrating German language skills for your chosen degree program. Sometimes language certificates for other foreign languages are required. For international study programs, proof of English proficiency is sometimes sufficient.
