However, students who participate in an international Master have to acquire a basic knowledge of the German language. They are obligated to attend the German courses at the University of Kaiserslautern and pass the A1-level exam at TU Kaiserslautern within the first year of their studies. International master students who prove their knowledge in German language with an A2-Goethe certificate from abroad, not older than one year, can be exempted from passing the A1-level exam at TU Kaiserslautern.
By passing higher level exams, international master students can obtain ECTS credit points for their studies.
As per University Mail
not having the final certificates upon application is not a problem.
Upload the documents you have in our online application portal under
https://apply.physik.uni-kl.de/
and leave a comment explaining why the final certificate is not
available yet. However, upon enrollment you need to be able to present
the certificate (which you wrote to be no problem).
For the semesters that are not covered by the transcript, please make
sure to outline your curriculum in the application. This is crucial for
the application committee to judge whether your b.sc. is equivalent to
one offered here in Kaiserslautern.
