1. A Bachelor of Science in chemistry, biology or related areas ( pharmacy, biochemistry etc. ) - complete study = three to four years - (for your application please send all available transcripts, we need the final certificate until 30th September, 2021 at the latest).120 credits minimum are required.
2. You must prove, through TOEFL IBT, IELTS, TOEIC or Cambridge that your knowledge in English is sufficient if your last study was not completely in English language. The test had to be carried out within the past two years. We require the original or a certified copy by the German embassy.
Bachelor (B.Sc.) degree qualifying for a profession in biochemistry, biology, chemistry or a closely related discipline such as biotechnology, pharmacy or medical studies, with achievements to at least 180 credit points.
At least 60 credit points in one or several of the sciences of previous study such as: biochemistry, biotechnology, chemistry, cell biology, genetics, microbiology, mathematics, plant physiology or physics.
Fluency in English according to level C1 of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).

Step 2
If you qualify for the programme, you will be invited to participate in a written test on biochemistry at either one of the partner universities of the University of Bremen or at a DAAD representation. You will be informed about the place for the test.

If you have passed the test and can take part in our master programme our secretaries to students international will ask you to send certified copies of the a. m. documents to the following address:
