The final deadline is 31 May for international (non-EU) applicants and 30 June for EU applicants and non-EU applicants who do not need a visa. Applying earlier can bring a discount: 4,500 euros by 30 November, 3,000 euros by 31 January and 1,500 euros by 31 March. To get it, you must also send all missing documents and tests and pass the admissions interview by 31 January, 31 March or 30 June. The programme starts in September.

For the Master in Management (General and Finance tracks) you need a business-related Bachelor's of at least 180 credits (40 to 60 in business subjects), above-average results in both high school and your Bachelor's, a valid HHL Entry Test, GMAT or GRE, very good English (for example TOEFL iBT 90 or IELTS 7.0, or a Bachelor's taught in English) and at least 3 months of professional experience by the programme start.

You submit an online application, HHL reviews it and gives first feedback, and you are invited to a virtual interview of about 45 minutes with an HHL professor. HHL communicates its decision within 7 to 10 days, and you accept by signing the contract and paying the commitment fee within 2 weeks.

HHL expects a GMAT score above 600, or above 555 in the GMAT Focus Edition. Higher scores count towards scholarships: above 650 (Focus Edition above 595). The HHL code is ZCB-P6-03 for the M.Sc. and the GRE code is 4061.

It is a two-hour online test (the Business Admissions Test by BT Methods) that HHL accepts instead of the GMAT or GRE. It covers areas such as numerical manipulation, analytical modelling and logical thinking. Your invitation comes from your student affairs manager, and if you take it on your own computer, you are supervised by webcam.

All HHL buildings, the library, sports facilities and a canteen are in one spot in Leipzig, beside the green banks of the river Weiße Elster. Some student dorms are nearby, and downtown and the central railway station are about five minutes away by public transport.
