Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (TU Brandenburg) Cottbus
Civil Engineering is a German-taught Master of Science at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU), on its Cottbus campuses. It takes 4 semesters full-time, you can start in winter or summer, and admission is not limited. Building has become very complex, from construction and civil engineering to transport planning, air conditioning and energy optimisation, and adapting existing and historic buildings is increasingly important. The programme builds on the research-oriented Bachelor's and leads to a professional and research degree equal to the former engineering diploma of a technical university. You can set your own priorities, with options for a semester abroad, a longer engineering internship or joining current research. Teaching is project-oriented, training methods, creativity and social skills through concrete tasks. Graduates work in planning offices, construction companies, public institutions, or in research and development. Requirements include a Bachelor's in civil engineering or an equivalent degree.
