The Intelligent Manufacturing master’s degree is aimed at applicants with a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent degree in
− mechanical engineering/mechatronics
− electrical engineering/information technology
− applied computer science
and in closely related engineering courses.
Bachelor’s degree programs in mechanical engineering/mechatronics, electrical engineering/information technology or applied computer science from universities including universities of technology shall be unconditionally recognized as previous programs of study in suitable subjects. Applicants with bachelor’s degrees in these subjects shall be admitted without subject-related conditions.Additionally, applicants with other degrees can be admitted if their previous programs of study, successfully completed, are in suitable subjects. Whether a previous program of study is suitable in subject matter and/or equivalent shall be determined on the basis of the documents to be submitted alongside the application and thus on the basis of appropriate criteria. As part of this, evidence of subject-specific competence must be provided amounting in total to 90 credit pointsfrom the following fields: mechanical engineering/mechatronics, electrical engineering or applied computer science and, particularly, foundations of manufacturing engineering. Appropriate criteria shall include the module descriptions indicating the subject matter covered in teaching and assessment, the examination and program regulations, and the schedule for the degree program in which the credit points were gained. The question shall be decided by the
entrance/admissions review committee responsible for the master’s degree program following submission of the application documents.
