Applications
Admission to the Masters program in Mechanical Engineering is restricted. The program starts in summer and winter semester. The application deadline is the 15th of January for the summer semester of the respective year and the 15th of July for the winter semester of the respective year.
Graduates from German universities apply online. Internet portal for applications:

The portal generally opens at the beginning or middle of November for summer semester admissions and at the beginning or middle of May for winter semester admissions. Applications are only possible from that point
onward and only for the following semester.

Successful completion of a Bachelor's degree program of the Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering of the University of Düsseldorf or a comparable Bachelor's degree program of another university is required. The bachelor's examination of the study program must have been graded with an overall grade of "2.5" (according to the German grading system) or better. Alternatively, an equivalent grade according to ECTS applies.
In addition, level B2 proficiency must be demonstrated according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Enrollment.

Application
The master program Mechanical Engineering is restricted.
The NC-values-table of the last semester gives you information about the average grade required at that time. Please use the table only as a guide for the current NC, as the NC values for the following semester can not be predicted, but only from the competition of candidates for the admission-restricted study places arise.
The beginning of studies is possible both for the summer and winter semester. The application deadline is January 15 (application for the summer semester) or July 15 (application for the winter semester) of the year. The application for the course is done online .

Successful completion of one of the bachelor's degree programs in Mechanical Engineering Product Development, Mechanical Engineering Production Engineering, Energy and Environmental Engineering or Environmental and Process Engineering from the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Process Engineering at Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences or a comparable bachelor's degree program from another university with a total of 210 credit points is required.
Applicants with a comparable bachelor's degree comprising 180 credit points can be admitted to the course subject to certain conditions. The conditions are imposed by the examination board based on the content and scope (usually 30 credit points).
The Bachelor's examination for the degree program must have been graded with an overall grade of "2.5" (according to the German grading system) or better. Alternatively, an equivalent grade according to the ECTS applies.
