First degree qualifying for entry into a profession with 210 ECTS credits or a standard period of study of at least 7 semesters in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering and Management (specialising in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related discipline with an equal proportion of electrical engineering. Applicants with degrees of less than 210 ECTS credits must complete the missing 210 ECTS credits by completing modules from the Bachelor's degree programme in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology or Engineering and Management. The overall grade must be 2.5 or better. In the case of a lower degree, an application for admission to university studies can be made on the basis of evidence of very good specialist knowledge in the field of electrical engineering and information technology. Decisions are made by the Examination Board.
The applicant must have sufficient German language skills corresponding to at least DSH 2 level.
