Production Technology and Management is a German-taught Master of Science (M.Sc.) at HAW Hamburg on the Berliner Tor campus. It takes 3 semesters full-time (part-time status is possible), and you can start in winter or summer because the modules run independently. You learn to assess and implement both the technical and the business side of production processes, in small international groups and partly in English. You spend a year on coursework, a Master's project and research labs, then write your Master's thesis in the third semester, usually with an industrial company. It builds on a degree in production engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field and leads to careers in aviation, automotive, consumer goods, logistics and mechanical engineering. Requirements include a 210-credit Bachelor's, English at B1 and, as an international applicant, German at C1. With a 180-credit Bachelor's you must make up 30 more credits to enrol fully.
