Applicants with international certificates must get their certificates recognised by the Center for International Students Konstanz.
To do so, please go to the website of the Center for International Students Konstanz. There you fill out an online form and upload copies of your educational certificates. The Center for International Students Konstanz will check your documents and send an email to the HHN with the evaluation of your documents
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree with an engineering component of 50%. • Applicants should have an excellent or good first degree of 2.5 or better. Your certificate of the “Certificate Recognition Office of the Faculty of Engineering at Heilbronn University” or of the "Studienkolleg - Center for International Students" is mandatory. Applicants from China, Vietnam or India have to submit the certificate of APS ("Akademische Prüfstelle") as well. • We require a bachelor\`s degree with 210 ECTS. Graduates with 180 ECTS can be admitted. They will be requested to obtain an extra 30 ECTS credits in appropriate Bachelor programs at Heilbronn University or by conducting a six month internship in a company. • English Language skills: TOEFL (at least 79 points internet-based version), IELTS (Test Level 6.0), Cambridge Certificate (FCE (minimum C - passed)), TOEIC (730 points) certificate or a continuous stay of at least one year in an English-speaking foreign country as evidenced by studies at an Englishspeaking university, employment certificates or similar documents. (Not applicable to native English speakers - A native speaker is considered to be someone who was raised in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, UK, USA) • The written confirmation of two professors of the Faculty of Engineering, who agree to supervise the applicant in the research project.
Please note that HHN has to exclude you from consideration for a place in the study programme if you cannot provide the recognition of certificates by the application deadline!
_In individual cases, recognition from uniassist can also be accepted, provided that this has already been done._

2. Prepare the remaining documents that will complete your application.
Unless specifically noted, the documents below are required for your application. For
the application process, simple copies of the required documents are sufficient. In
case of admission, students have to present either the original documents or certified
true copies of the required documents when getting enrolled. Sworn translations are
necessary if the original documents are not issued in German or English. General Certificate of Education or other school leaving certificate (high school
diploma) Curriculum vitae First Degree Certificate relevant to this application and Transcript of Academic
Record (Bachelors degree) in German or English TOEFL, IELTS, CAE, TOIC certificate or a continuous stay of at least one year
in an English-speaking foreign country as evidenced by studies at an Englishspeaking university, employment certificates or similar documents. (Not
applicable to native English speakers - A native speaker is considered to be
someone who was raised in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, UK,
USA) In case of a Non-German first degree: Studienkolleg Certificate The written confirmation on the Applicant sheet of two professors of the
Faculty Engineering, who agree to supervise the applicant in the research
project Applicant sheet of the respective degree programme for which admission is
sought
