The entry requirement for the Master's degree program in Corporate Sustainability and Sustainable Finance is a degree in economics, other social sciences, engineering or natural sciences with an overall grade of at least "good" (2.5) in a diploma or bachelor's degree program, with the degree program comprising at least 210 CP. Of these, at least 15 CP must have been acquired in quantitative methodological principles (mathematics, statistics, business informatics). If these methodological skills are lacking, they must be proven within one year of starting the degree program at the latest.
A German language level of B1 and English B2 is required.
Proof of German language skills at least at level B1 within the first year of study.
What to prepare for your application to Corporate Sustainability & Sustainable Finance
Completed degree in economics, other social sciences, engineering or natural sciences or an equivalent diploma or bachelor's degree with at least 210 ECTS. Of these, at least 15 CP must have been acquired in quantitative methodological principles (mathematics, statistics, business informatics). If these methodological skills are lacking, they must be proven within one year of starting the course at the latest.
Final grade at least 2.5.
Proof of English language skills at least at level B2 (general higher education entrance qualification certificate from a German grammar school or vocational or technical high school, language certificate TOEFL test with at least 75.0 points, IELTS test with at least 5.5 points).
This proof is considered to be provided by all graduates of a degree program in which at least 50% of the acquired CP are in English-language modules.
Proof of German language skills at least at level B1 within the first year of study.
This proof is deemed to be provided by all graduates of a degree program in which at least 30% of the acquired credit points are in German-language modules. A certificate of general higher education entrance qualification from a German grammar school or vocational or technical high school is also considered as proof.

Copy of the final certificate from the first degree course in accordance with Section 4 Paragraph 1 No. 1 of the Study and Examination Regulations of the Master’s degree course, if necessary with German translation.
An essay of approximately 2,000 characters in English in which the applicant pursues a scientific question that is closely related to corporate sustainability or sustainable finance.
