How to apply
What you need to apply for Master of Space Engineering (MSE) at Technical University Berlin (TU Berlin)
Internationally recognized English language certificate – e.g. TOEFL, IELTS or comparable. The minimum score for the TOEFL is 80 for the Internet-based test and 550 for the paper based test. The IELTS examination is accepted with a 6 band score (academic modules).
Bachelor’s degree completed in English.

Minimum of one year’s work experience gained after graduation (including relevant internship periods)

What to prepare for your application to Master of Space Engineering (MSE)
You start your application for the MSE study programme by completing the online application form. You will also need to submit the PDF copies of the following documents in English.

Curriculum vitae (CV)
Motivation letter explaining what you hope to achieve during your studies, what qualifies you as a top candidate, what are your career goals, etc.
Transcripts and certificates to all higher education institutions attended (if not originally in English – certified copies)
Letter(s) of recommendation (from your pevious/current employer or/and from academic supervisor)
Proof of language proficiency
If your application is successful, you will be invited to attend an online interview.
After the final selection has been completed, we will inform you of the result of your application via email. If you are successful, we will send you a conditional letter of acceptance. Your place at the University will be confirmed with an unconditional letter of acceptance once the deposit of €500 has been paid.

You start your application for the MSE study programme by completing the online application form. You will also need to submit the PDF copies of the following documents in English:
If your application is successful, you will be invited to attend a Skype interview.
After the final selection has been completed, we will inform you the result of your application by email. If you have succeeded, we will send you a letter of admission, provide you with our bank details and ask you pay the first tuition fees instalment.
Please check with the German Embassy in your country whether a copy of the letter of admission sent by email or fax is sufficient for a visa application, or if you require the original document. If your visa application is refused, the first tuition fees instalment paid (less postage and bank transfer fees) will be refunded to you. In this case, please send us the original letter of refusal, letter of admission and your bank details.
