After checking your documents, we will invite suitable applicants for a personal interview. You will receive the invitation via the digital application portal. The discussions are ongoing. For applications that reach us towards the end of the application period, interviews usually take place at the end of July. All conversations are conducted digitally via Webex.
The conversation lasts approximately 15 minutes and is conducted in English. Your letter of motivation serves as a basis for discussion and is therefore particularly important! During the interview, your communication skills and your ability to self-assess, your ability to scientifically argue and identify problems, your international and intercultural competence as well as your professional motivation to study this master's program will be assessed.
In the selection process, both the selection interview and the Bachelor's final grade are equally important. You can achieve a maximum of 40 points in the interview. The Bachelor's final grade is also converted into points. You can achieve the maximum score of 40 points with a grade of 1.0. For every 0.1 decrease in the grade, one point less is awarded. If your Bachelor's final grade is not yet available at the time of application, the assessment of the selection interview will determine the grade you need in order to be admitted. You have successfully passed the selection process if you have received at least 60 out of 80 points.
