Certified copies of foreign certificates that are not issued in German, English or French must be submitted along with a certified translation. If your documents do not fulfil the requirements or if important certificates are missing, your application will not be processed.

Applicants who completed their first degree in China or Vietnam have to upload an APS certificate when applying for a Master’s degree program. Applicants who completed their degree in India also have submit an APS certificate. The APS certificate for India is already required with immediate effect when applying for a study visa in Germany. From summer semester 2025, the APS certificate must already be uploaded when applying for a Master’s degree program.
