How to apply
What you need to apply for International Master's Programme Biofabrication at University of Bayreuth
Proof of B2 level or equivalent qualification is required to be admitted. You can find detailed information on the English-language course page.

A university degree (or completed studies) in the Bachelor's programmes (requiring 180 ECTS points) Materials Science & Engineering or Engineering Science at the University of Bayreuth or an equivalent degree

You have already earned a bachelor’s degree in materials science and engineering, engineering science, bioengineering science, or an equivalent degree with 180 ECTS points. In addition, your English is at the level of “B 2”, while your German level should be basic (A1). You will also need to provide a 12-week industry internship and successfully complete the aptitude assessment process. Once these requirements are matched, you are ready to “biofabricate”.
The application must include:
> a) evidence of a degree from a higher education institution or an equivalent degree (in the case of having requested final admission to the master's programme) or
> b) evidence of having earned 150 ECTS points or – in case of programmes not modularized according to the ECTS system – work that is equivalent in scope (in case conditional admission to the master's programme is requested).

Request for disadvantage compensation
If you are unable to take an aptitude test in whole or in part in the intended form due to a prolonged or permanent disability, an application for disadvantage compensation can be made. Proof of the examination disability must be provided in the form of a medical certificate, which can be uploaded here.
Admission from the University of Bayreuth for this course of study from a previous semester (and possibly a letter of requirements)
only to be uploaded by applicants who already got an admission letter from the UBT for the respective master's programme in a previous semester, but did not manage to start their studies
