What you need to apply for Economic Policy at University of Siegen
1. TOEFL test results of at least 550 (paper-based), or 213 (computer-based test) or 79 (internet-based test)
2. The TOEFL code for the University of Siegen is 8429.
3. IELTS test with a minimum score of 5.5 points

5. English language qualifications obtained through at least five years of English instruction in secondary/high school. You are required to enclose copies of your upper secondary/high school certificates, including course and examination descriptions of your English language course for these five years.

A copy of your bachelor diploma (in German or English)
You may also apply even if you have not yet completed your bachelor's degree but will do so by September 30. Instead of you diploma, please attach a copy of your current transcript of records. Please note that a possible admission will be contingent upon you completing your degree by September 30.
A transcript of records (please make sure that a grading table from your university is included or upload it separately in the unisono system)
APS certificate: Only required in case you attained your graduation certificate in the PR of China, India or Vietnam.
Optional documents:
GRE scores: You can submit your GRE score to demonstrate your competences in analytical writing and verbal and quantitative reasoning. You may either attach a copy of your test results to your application or you can use ETS (The institution code of the University of Siegen is 8420). Please note that submitting your GRE scores is optional, but recommended.

Procedure after your application:
You will receive a confirmation mail from the unisono system.
The Admission Commission decides about the eligiblity for the MEPS program. You will receive a mail, as soon as any decisions is made. Unfortunately, due to the high number of applications it is not possible to give individualized reasons for rejection.
In case of a positive admission decision, you will receive an official admission letter.
The admission letter contains a list of documents that you need to submit for your enrollment at the university.

Should you have no explict or only a weak economic background we would like to ask you to especially document that your formal (mathematical and statistical) background is sufficient to enable you to meet the formal requirements of our quantitatively oriented master‘s program.
3) The final average grade of the undergraduate degree should be 2,5 or better according to the German grading scheme. The conversion of grades is done by means of the Modified Bavarian Formula.
