Sustainability Management and Economics (M.Sc., 1-subject)

Sustainability Management and Economics is an English-taught M.Sc. at Trier University, offered jointly by business administration and economics over 4 semesters with 120 credits, with entry in the winter or summer semester. It is for graduates of a relevant Bachelor's in economics or social sciences who want to study the social, ecological and economic sides of sustainability in depth. It first revisits core business and economics foundations, then lets you add interdisciplinary specialisations from natural and social science modules, such as political communication or sustainable finance, and a research project adds practical application. A stay abroad is recommended, ideally in the third semester. Graduates can work in corporate and sustainability consulting, audit firms focused on sustainability reporting, banks or environmental assessment.
